Work is underway on the first wind farm in the Odessa region of Ukraine, said the country’s wind energy association as it reported a ramping-up of activity in the Eastern European nation.
The first GE 3.6MW turbines are in place at the Ovid Wind 1 development in Ovidiopolsky, with commissioning of the first 32.4MW phase due for completion in the autumn of this year, according to the Ukranian Wind Energy Association (UWEA).
