Argentina has signed a 20-year PPA for the 86.6MW La Genoveva project, edging it closer to concluding deals for all 12 wind developments contracted in Round 2 of its RenovAr programme last year.

With Genoveva – which is owned by CP Renovables, the renewable energy arm of Argentine petrochemical group Central Puerto – the Argentine government has now signed PPAs with nine wind projects contracted at the tender held in November 2017 at average prices of $40.91/MWh.
