TPI Composites, the US-based maker of wind turbine blades, announced it will add two more dedicated manufacturing lines for Vestas at a soon-to-open production facility in Matamoros, Mexico, further deepening its relationship with the Danish OEM, which has eclipsed GE as TPI’s biggest customer.
The latest deal will lift TPI’s total number of Vestas-dedicated lines in Matamoros to six.
