Vestas turbines will scale new heights when the OEM installs turbines atop 175-metre steel towers in Finland.
The five structures using the OEM’s cable-stayed tower technology will be the world’s tallest all-steel turbine towers, said Vestas, which is deploying them as part of an R&D collaboration with customer TuuliWatti Oy.
The deal with the developer also includes the first order for Vestas’ V150-4.2
