The Turkish energy ministry has launched the country’s first offshore wind tender, for 1.2GW of capacity to be allocated under the YEKA support scheme that last year produced record low prices for onshore wind.
Bids by individual companies or consortia are subject to an $80/MWh price ceiling and can be handed in by 23 October, 2018, the ministry said in the Turkish government's Official Gazette.
