The Scottish port of Fraserburgh has been selected as the operations and maintenance (O&M) base for the 950MW Moray East offshore wind farm, located in the Outer Moray Firth, 40km from the Scottish northeast coast.

The project company Moray Offshore Windfarm East Ltd (MOWEL) - a joint venture between Portugal’s EDPR (56.7%), France’s Engie (23.3%), and Mitsubishi’s UK-based subsidiary Diamond Generating Europe (20%) – will use Fraserburgh as the principal onshore base to operate the wind farm.
