International marine engineering consultancy LOC Renewables has taken a 70% stake in Innosea, a spin-off from French technical college École Centrale de Nantes , as part of plans to expand the company’s planning and design services to the offshore wind industry.
Innosea’s areas of expertise include design engineering for fixed and floating substructures for offshore wind developments, as well as related hydrodynamic, metocean, structural and aeroelastic analyses.
