EDF Renewables has announced a deal to develop and build the 200MW Golden Plains wind project in Iowa for utility group Alliant Energy, adding further detail to Alliant’s 1GW wind expansion plans in the state for 2020.
California-based EDF Renewables, among North America’s premiere renewables operators, will complete the Golden Plains project in northcentral Winnebago and Kossuth counties by 2020, in time for the full production tax credit.
