Denmark’s Orsted today officially opens the 573MW Race Bank offshore wind farm off eastern England – the first time the developer has used a new specialist vessel for operations and maintenance (O&M) work on one of its UK projects.
“Powering over half a million homes ever year, Race Bank is another positive step towards delivering the UK’s decarbonised energy system of the future,” said Matthew Wright, managing director at Orsted UK
Wright said Race Bank underlines Orsted’s contribution to the UK’s energy transition.
