AMSC expects a US court on 6 July to sentence Chinese turbine manufacturer Sinovel Wind Group after a federal jury earlier this year found it guilty of charges that it stole trade secrets from its former technology supplier.
“Our understanding of what should happen is the sentencing should include a fine and should include restitution direction to us,” Dan McGahn, chief executive of Massachusetts-based AMSC, said on a conference call Thursday.
