With targeted investments and forward-looking policies, Maine could build on its advantages in the offshore wind industry to increase economic growth and support an average of more than 2,000 good-paying jobs annually, according to a new report.

Many of those job opportunities would be in the fields of construction, electronics, engineering, environmental sciences, machine tooling and metalworking, as well as in port operations and wind farm support services.
