Wind OEM Senvion is on the hunt for a new CEO as current boss Jürgen Geissinger steps down, the Germany-based company said.

Senvion has put finance chief Kumar Manav Sharma in the acting CEO role while it seeks a successor, said the manufacturer. Chief sales officer David Hardy is made executive director to further strengthen the management team.

Geissinger was hired as CEO in December 2015, soon after the deal led by Centerbridge Partners that acquired Senvion from previous owner Suzlon.
