Wind OEM Nordex said a 1GW-plus first quarter order intake bodes well for the back end of this year and into 2019, as a hangover from a slow German turbine market in 2017 sent sales and profits tumbling in the period.
Nordex managed sales of €487.9m ($581m) in the January-March period, down from €648.4m at the same stage in 2017.
