Turbine OEM Senvion secured its biggest EPC order in India with a 300MW deal to build and equip a wind farm for Middle Eastern energy group Alfanar.
Germany-based Senvion will deliver the Bhuj Wind Project in the state of Gujarat, a successful bidder in the third round of inter-state auctions run by the Indian government.
The deal also includes a 10-year O&M agreement at the wind farm, which will use 131 Senvion 2.3M120
