German developer E.ON has commissioned all 116 turbines at its 400MW Rampion offshore wind farm, which is now feeding power to the UK grid.
E.ON said the project, located some 13km off the Sussex coast in southern England, is scheduled to be completed before the end of this year.
“Further work will have to be completed in the coming months before the substations on land and at sea, for example, can be fully commissioned,” E.ON
