Regulators in the US state of Wyoming have approved a revised version of Warren Buffett-owned utility PacifiCorp’s plan to build more than 1GW of wind in the Cowboy State by 2020, albeit with an Invenergy-backed project dropped from the final plan.
Last year PacifiCorp – the Portland, Oregon-based utility group whose Pacific Power and Rocky Mountain Power units sell electricity across six Western states – unveiled its Energy Vision 2020 initiative, including plans to build 1.1GW
