Japanese-Danish offshore OEM MHI Vestas has unveiled a new line of digitally driven products to further optimise its V164 turbine, building on its range of turbine performance-enhancing ‘Max’ features that have been added to the ultra-large-scale machine in recent years.
The ‘Smart’ portfolio includes software for foundation design, active dampers for monopiles, a data-flow-boosting diagnostics tool and a performance monitor app for hand-held devices.
