India’s National Institute for Wind Energy (NIWE) has published an expression of interest (EOI) call for a 1GW wind farm off the state of Gujarat that it said would be the first major commercial project in the nation’s waters.
The EOI invites major domestic and foreign OEMs and developers to set out their stall ahead of a tender to develop a site 23-40km off Pipavav port in the Gulf of Khambhat.
