Germany-based wind OEM Senvion has received confirmation for the supply of turbines to the 226MW first stage of the 429MW Murra Warra wind project near Horsham in the Australian state of Victoria.

The turbine manufacturer will supply 61 of its 3.7M144 machines as part of a long-term power purchase agreement by a consortium of large energy users led by telecoms group Telstra that had been made public in December.
