A group of former Iberdrola Renewables executives have partnered with France-based private-equity firm Ardian to launch Skyline Renewables, a new US renewables operator with a goal of amassing 3GW of capacity in the years ahead.
Skyline will focus its investments on onshore wind, both development-stage and operational projects, beginning with the acquisition of the decade-old 60MW Whirlwind wind farm in Floyd County, Texas, from RES Americas.
