Broadwind Energy’s structural tower business is recovering from a dismal Q4 2017 as project developers have begun placing orders again, while the medium-term outlook for wind energy remains strong, says chief executive Stephanie Kushner.
In a statement, she says the company expects a significant improvement in capacity utilization in its tower plants as the year progresses. Broadwind is the number two tower manufacturer in the US wind market.
