Xcel Energy has reached a settlement with key customer groups in Texas, who will support plans by a subsidiary of the electric utility holding company to build and contract 1.23GW of new wind power capacity there and in neighboring New Mexico.
Both parties recorded the settlement in what is known as a stipulation and filed it today with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT).
