Spanish power company Acciona has sold its solar thermal assets in Spain to UK’s ContourGlobal in a €1.09bn ($1.3bn) agreement.
Under the deal, which could increase in value if certain milestones are met, ContourGlobal acquired five plants with a combined capacity of 250MW. The transaction includes the Palma del Río I and II projects in Córdoba, Majadas in Cáceres, and Alvarado and Orellana in Badajoz.
