France’s Quadran Energies Marines (QEM) has tapped Spanish floating Lidar specialist Eolos to lead a first wind measurement campaign at the developer’s 24MW EolMed floating wind array project site in the Mediterranean Sea.
The assignment will see Eolos install one of its FSL200 units equipped with ZephIR 300M Lidar technology in 55 metres of water off the Gruissan area of southern France, with operations set to kick off in April.
