Iberdrola-owned Scottish Power Renewables has awarded Offshore Wind Consultants (OWC) a contract to carry out an offshore construction readiness assessment for the 714MW East Anglia 1 (EA1) wind farm off eastern England.
The assessment includes the installation of piles, jackets, export cable and offshore substations for wind farm. The contract value was not disclosed.
“OWC will support the EA1 project in undertaking a thorough construction readiness assessment,” said Ian Bonnon, managing director of OWC .
