Global consumer goods giant Nestlé signed a PPA for 50MW-worth of output from the Meadow Lake VI wind farm operated by EDPR in the state of Indiana, adding further to corporate renewables momentum in the US.
Nestlé will take the power via the regional PJM Interconnection grid for facilities in Pennsylvania, boosting the group’s level of renewables in its US power mix to 20%, said a statement announcing the deal.
