US President Donald Trump’s administration will reportedly unveil details of its long-awaited infrastructure plan early next week, but the odds of a meaningful infrastructure package passing this year don’t look good, says Tom Kiernan, chief executive of the American Wind Energy Association.
Like many industries, the US renewables sector has been keenly interested in Trump’s long-standing – if thinly detailed – promise to update the country’s “crumbling” roads, bridges and electric grid under the Republican-controlled Congress.
