Northern England’s Able Seaton Port has been awarded a contract from Danish player Orsted to provide the installation base and a range of associated services for the giant 1.2GW Hornsea 1 offshore wind farm in the North Sea.

Able Seaton Port, located on the east coast of England on the River Tees, has long been a significant player across a range of activities, including marine decommissioning, oil rig upgrading works and as a project cargo port.
