Danish offshore wind champion Orsted plans to set up a lithium-ion storage system in Taiwan’s Changhua County of at least 1MW.
The utility will work together with the Changhua County Government, state-owned Taiwan Power Company (Taipower), Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), and National Changhua University of Education (NCUE), to establish a consortium for energy storage research and promote local development of a green energy ecosystem.
