Poland could build up to 4GW of offshore wind capacity by the end of 2030, and up to 8GW by the end of 2035, according to an analysis by the Warsaw-based Foundation for Sustainable Energy (FNEZ) as part of its 'Baltic Energy for Poland 2025' programme.

While FNEZ’s estimate is somewhat higher than that of other industry experts on Poland, the foundation also stresses that an offshore build-up off Poland’s Baltic Sea coast is only possible if a stable framework were to be set up, as well as incentives to investments.
