New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed an executive order Wednesday effecting a 3.5GW statewide offshore wind target for 2030, and directed regulators to quickly fill the gaps in an existing programme to make it possible for developers like Orsted and US Wind to secure off-take deals.
