American Electric Power chief executive Nicholas Akins remains “confident” that the record-smashing 2GW Wind Catcher project in Oklahoma will soon get approved by various state regulators and be built in time to qualify for the full production tax credit, despite recent pushback from some state officials.
“We’re still in good shape,” Akins told analysts this week on a conference call.
