Jordan could be set to install over 3GW of renewable energy capacity in the next decade, as the country’s power mix is experiencing a “ transition”, according to analysts at consultancy BMI Research.
“Jordan's power mix will undertake a substantial transition over the next decade, as access to gas and the rapid expansion of the solar and wind power sectors will reduce the importance of imported oil for power generation,” BMI said.
