Wind OEM Vestas has tied up its first supply agreement in Kazakhstan, adding the Central Asian nation to its current 76-strong list of markets.
Vestas will deliver 52MW-worth of its of V112-3.45 MW machines to CAPEC Green Energy, a regional developer, for its Astana wind farm planned near the country’s capital of the same name.
The developer said it chose the Danish wind group because of its experience in neighbouring markets and technical prowess in low-temperature conditions.
