Oil major Shell has hired a US bank to advise it in a possible bid for Dutch utility Eneco, Dutch daily De Telegraaf reported, citing unnamed banking sources.
Shell is already working together with Eneco at the Borssele 3&4 offshore wind project off the Netherlands, although both companies earlier this month announced that they will reduce their equity share in the 731MW project.
