Samuel Leupold has decided to resign as Orsted (formerly Dong) Wind Power chief executive and will leave the company on 28 February 2018 to be replaced by Martin Neubert, now senior vice president at Orsted Wind.

Leupold, who in the past years had helped to transform Orsted away from its oil and gas origins into a utility driven mostly by offshore wind, has decided to take a break to spend more time with his family in Switzerland, Orsted said.
