Greek utility Terna Energy has started operations at the 155MW Fluvanna 1 wind farm in Scurry County, Texas.
Construction of the $250m project began in December 2016 and was completed in less than 12 months.
The installation of the wind farm's final turbines late last year was responsible for a milestone in the history of Texas's power economy, tipping wind to 20GW and past coal on the main electric grid for the first time.
