Wind OEM Vestas rounded off 2017 with a clutch of orders in the Americas that took its total for the year to a shade under 10.7GW, meaning it ends 2017 ahead of last year.
A 190MW US order from an unnamed customer for the OEM's 4MW platform took the Danish group's year-to-date orders to 10.595GW, ahead of the record 10.494GW
