Clean Line Energy has sold the Oklahoma segment of its $2.5bn, three-state Plains and Eastern transmission project to NextEra Energy Resources, giving the nation’s largest wind and solar generator a greater stake in long-haul renewable energy delivery.
Houston-based Clean Line did not make terms of the transaction public or say when it closed. It was not immediately clear if the deal will require state and federal regulatory approvals.
