Argentina contracted a further 327.8MW of wind projects and 259.5MW of solar PV projects in the second stage of the Round 2 renewable energy tender known as Round 2.5.
This brings the total amount of renewable energy contracted by the Argentine government in this year’s RenovAr programme tenders to 2.04GW.
The RenovAr programmes aims to contract 10GW of non large hydro renewable projects by 2025 to meet the target of 20% of renewable energy supply up from around 2% today.
