Siemens Gamesa will merge its North America and Latin America units and named Gamesa veteran José Antonio Miranda, currently CEO for Latin America, the onshore chief at the global wind giant’s newly combined Americas division.
The fused Americas operation will include two of the world’s largest wind markets – the US and Brazil – along with second-tier markets like Canada and Chile, and future powerhouses like Mexico.
