Siemens Gamesa hailed a “major order” to build and equip a 200MW wind farm in India, providing welcome relief for the OEM amid an installation slump in one of its key growth markets.
The Spain-based OEM will deliver the project in Poovani, Tamil Nadu, for power producer Orange Renewable under a turnkey contract of the type common in the Indian market.
