UK energy regulator Ofgem has selected the infrastructure consortium Transmission Capital Partners as preferred bidder to own and operate the offshore transmission link for Statoil’s 402MW Dudgeon wind farm off Eastern England.

Transmission Capital Partners, a consortium comprising Transmission Capital Partners, the International Public Partnerships, Amber Infrastructure and Transmission Investment, was selected following a tender in which bidders competed to become an offshore transmission owner (OFTO) for the next 20 years.
