The 400MW Rampion offshore wind farm has started generating electricity in the English Channel.
German developer E.ON said the first Vestas V112-3.45MW turbine has been commissioned, with the 115 additional machines to be connected to the grid in stages over the next few months.
The offshore work for the Rampion project began in autumn 2015 with the preparation of the seabed for the foundations.
