Wind project sponsors of 6.8GW located in Brazil’s Northeastern state of Rio Grande do Norte will likely bid mostly in this year’s second tender on 20 December, with grid bottlenecks expected to be overcome by their scheduled start-up date of 2023.
That is the conclusion of a study of tender rules and grid expansion reports from the trade body representing power sector companies in the state (SEERN).
