Senvion confirmed for Australia's 126MW Lincoln Gap stage 1

Independent power producer Nexif Energy has reached financial close on the first stage of the 212MW Lincoln Gap wind farm, located near Port Augusta in South Australia.

Germany-based OEM Senvion has been issued with a notice to install an initial 35 turbines for the 126MW first stage of Lincoln Gap. The wind farm will use Senvion’s 3.6M140 EBC turbine – the first machine from the company’s 3MW range to be installed in Australia.
