China is making some progress solving the curtailment problem plaguing its wind sector, according to latest power market analysis published by regulator the National Energy Administration (NEA) and industry association the China Electricity Council (CEC).

In the first nine months of this year, wind turbines in China on average operated for 1,386 hours, up from 1,251 hours during the same period of 2016, says the National Power Supply and Demand Analysis report released by NEA and CEC to cover the first three quarters of 2017.
