The UK’s seabed landlord The Crown Estate is to open discussions with the offshore wind sector and other stakeholders as it considers making new rights available to wind developers off Britain's coast.
The Crown Estate says the announcement follows the UK government’s backing for offshore wind in its Clean Growth Strategy, and follows last months contracts-for difference auction which resulted in significant cost reductions.
