Siemens Gamesa has unveiled orders totaling 784MW in the US onshore sector, in a major boost to the newly-merged OEM in one of the world’s key markets.
The announcement sent the Spain-based OEM's shares up 4% in mid-morning trading in Madrid.
The 310-turbines will be delivered to five projects, the manufacturer said, without giving details of the wind farms, schedules or customers involved.
