Vineyard Wind, the developer that controls one of three prime offshore wind development areas south of Massachusetts, has named Dong veteran Lars Thaaning Pedersen its new chief executive, reflecting its European ownership.
Pedersen, currently an executive at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and before that an offshore wind leader at Denmark’s Dong Energy (now called Orsted), will relocate to Vineyard’s headquarters in New Bedford, Massachusetts, to take up his new position.
